Rauli Chalet

Named after the handsome native beech tree outside the chalet, Raulí accommodates 4 people or a maximum of 5. The excellent insulation maintains the chalet a comfortable temperature no matter what the season. The chalet is oriented to the north, maximizing sun exposure and from every window there is a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. It has a reputation for excellent cleanliness.

Bedroom

There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two large single beds. An additional fold-up bed may be added to either room for an additional fee. The beds are very comfortable with quality Rosen mattresses and quality linen and duvets. Each bedroom has an eco-convection heater ensuring maximum comfort on cold winter nights. An additional fold-up bed may be added to either bedroom to make room for a 5th person, this has an additional cost.

Bathroom

Underfloor heating in the bathroom maintains it dry and comfortable. Towels, hairdryer and complementary shampoo and soap are provided.

Living Room

There is a slow combustion stove in the living, which maintains the cabin a comfortable temperature in winter. In summer it is pleasantly cool and protected from the heat due to excellent insulation. The living has DirecTV and the cabin has WiFi access.

Kitchen

The kitchen is large and open style. It includes everything necessary to produce home cooked meals. Guests who don´t wish to cook may take advantage of our breakfast service brought to the cabin at the desired time between 07:30 and 10:30. There are at least 9 restaurants within a convenient distance that provide lunches and dinners; some of them also provide breakfast. The restaurants close between 9pm and 11pm.

Outside Area

There are 15 metres between Raulí and the nearest chalet, ensuring maximum privacy. The large terrace is ideal for enjoying a glass of wine or beer, perhaps with a BBQ, in the evenings whilst enjoying the beautiful sunsets. The terrace is also a great place to stargaze as we take every precaution to reduce artificial lighting so that it can be appreciated.

Location

The cabin is 8km from the ski field Corralco at the base of Volcano Lonquimay. There are many places where randonée, splitboard and walking with snowshoes can be practiced, including our own conservation property of 120hectares bordering Sierra Nevada and National Park Conguillio. On non-skiing days or visits in other seasons, there are endless opportunities for hiking, horseriding and other outdoor activities or for relaxing in one of the thermal baths in the area. Massage services, aromatherapy, reiki and other relaxing or restorative treatments are available.
